The artists for social change that appear on the freedom wall include Holly, Celia Cruz, Paul Robeson, Sidney Poitier, Joan Baez, Pete Seeger, Woody Guthrie, Mahalia Jackson, Cicely Tyson, Bob Marley, Bernice Johnson Reagon, Pablo Casals, and Norman Johns. The paintings of the artists were done by Brian Joiner.
